The Mission

Our mission is to help accelerate the approval of promising treatments for people living with spinal cord injury because every day without progress matters. BreakThru SCI is a grassroots movement led by people living with SCI and their families. We educate policymakers, engage regulators, and advocate for patient-informed regulatory pathways that help promising therapies move more efficiently through the approval process. Because no two spinal cord injuries are the same, the perspectives of people living with SCI should help define how treatment benefit is measured and evaluated.
