Our Mission
BreakThru SCI is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to advocating for accelerated access to breakthrough treatments for people living with spinal cord injury (SCI).
Founded by a family whose son sustained a spinal cord injury, BreakThru SCI elevates lived experience to help policymakers, regulators, and innovators understand the urgent unmet need and how people living with SCI define meaningful recovery.
The organization supports the advancement of safe and effective pharmacologic and combinatorial treatment approaches designed to repair the injured spinal cord, restore function, and improve quality of life.
