Help Bring the Voice of the SCI Community to Congress

Members of Congress and their staff need to hear directly from people living with spinal cord injury and their families. A personal message from a constituent can make a powerful difference in encouraging Congressional leaders to attend this important Congressional Briefing and learn more about the urgent need for regenerative drug therapies for SCI.

How to Invite Your Congressional Leaders (READ THROUGH ALL DIRECTIONS BEFORE CLICKING LINKS)

  1. Click “Template Invitation letter”

  2. Copy the entire Congressional Briefing Invitation Letter template

  3. Click “Contact Your Congressional Leaders”

  4. Select your state to find your two Senators

  5. Click “Contact” under their name

  6. Complete the contact form with your information

  7. Within the form, click on the Topic drop-down menu, select “Health” or “Health Care” (if available)

  8. In the Message section, paste the sample letter and briefing invitation from Step 1 + 2

    • Adjust the [SENATOR NAME] field

      1. [OPTIONAL] Customize/add a brief personal note to the template letter about why SCI and access to new therapies matter to you

  9. Submit the form

  10. Repeat the process for each of your Senators
